  • Instant Pot (Vortex) Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe plantains
  • 1 tablespoon oil or a cooking spray
  • Salt to taste optional

Instructions
 

  • Cut off both ends of the plantain with a sharp knife, and make a slit on the plantain lengthwise from end to end.
  • Pull the skin backward from the slit till you get the plantain out. Then slice the ripe plantain diagonally about half an inch thick or into cubes.
  • Put the sliced plantains into a large bowl and drizzle with half of the oil. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Arrange plantain slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time. Spray some oil and continue cooking.
  • Remove from the air fryer, serve, and enjoy!
