1kgChicken wings separate into drumettes and wingettes/flats
½teaspoongarlic granules garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
½tablespoonsmoked paprika
2teaspoonsdried parsley
1teaspoononion powder
1tablespooncornflour
Salt and black pepper to taste.
1tablespoonbaking powderOptional for more crispiness
2tablespoonsoil
Lemon pepper sauce
¼cupbutteror honey butter
1zest of a large lemon
½tablespoonfreshly ground black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 200C/400F for 2 minutes.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a kitchen towel, season with salt and pepper, paprika, parsley, garlic granules, and cornflour, and combine.
Pour the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes at 190F/375C or until the internal temperature reaches 165F/74C flipping it halfway through. Cook for another 3 minutes for extra crispiness.
While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a microwavable bowl. Add the lemon zest and freshly ground pepper, and combine.
Transfer the chicken to a bowl, pour over the lemon pepper sauce and toss to combine.
