Frozen Waffles in Air Fryer
Air fryer waffles are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can enjoy them with your favorite waffle toppings like maple syrup, whipped cream, or ice cream.
There’s no oil needed to get crispy waffles. All you need are your frozen waffles and your air fryer. I have tried frozen waffles in the microwave, and I didn’t get a great texture; it was soft and wasn’t crispy. You'll love making your frozen waffles once you've tried these simple steps.

How to Cook Frozen Waffles in an Air Fryer
Step by step
- Arrange waffles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Set the air fryer at 180C/368F for 3 minutes.
- Turn over after 1-2 minutes and allow to cook for the remaining minute or until golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer, add toppings of your choice, and enjoy air-fried waffles!

How to Store
It is super quick to make and requires no re-freezing, as it will affect the texture. It’s better to make what you can finish, and if for any reason you have leftovers, keep leftover waffles in the fridge in an airtight container or Ziploc bag for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the air fryer at 180C/365F or the toaster between 35 seconds to 1 minute or until hot and crispy again.
Top tip
Air fryer temperature varies depending on size, make, and model. My delicious cravings recipe time is subject to a preheated air fryer. If you are trying this recipe for the first time, deduct 2 minutes from the cooking time and increase it if needed to allow the food to cook evenly.
