Olive oil: substitute with oil of choice
Smoked paprika: substitute with sweet paprika
Garlic granules: substitute with freshly minced garlic cloves
Mixed herbs (optional)
Onion powder

Air fryer temperature varies depending on size, make, and model. My delicious cravings recipe time is subject to a preheated air fryer. If you are trying this recipe for the first time, deduct 2 minutes from the cooking time and increase it if needed to allow the food to cook evenly.
How to Air Fry Salmon with Skin
Step by step
- Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 200C/400F.
- Pat dry salmon with a kitchen paper towel. Drizzle the olive oil on the fillets.
- Mix the fish seasoning in a small bowl, add smoked paprika, garlic granules, mixed herbs, onions granules, salt, and black pepper, and stir to combine.
- Rub the fish seasoning on each of the fillets.
- Spray the air fryer basket using a cooking spray. Carefully place the salmon in the air fryer basket and cook at 200C/400F for 8 to 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 120F/50C.
- Remove fish from the air fryer, serve, and enjoy air-fried salmon with skin!
Variations
- Spicy - add red pepper flakes to the fish seasoning to give it some heat.
How to Store
Fridge: leave the salmon to cool and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
Freezer: you can freeze the salmon for up to 3 months in an airtight container or a Ziploc freezer bag.
