You can tweak this chicken recipe to your taste; season with preferred seasoning, spices or herbs. Please note the cooking time depends on the thickness and size of the chicken. The bigger the chicken, the longer it takes to cook.

Ingredients you need to make Chicken Leg Quarters
Chicken leg quarters (without skin): you can use them with skin if you prefer.
Oil: you can use any other cooking oil of choice; vegetable oil, olive oil or avocado oil.

Onion powder
Garlic powder
Ginger powder
Paprika
Thyme
Salt to taste
Air fryer temperature varies depending on size, make, and model. My delicious cravings recipe time is subject to a preheated air fryer. If you are trying this recipe for the first time, deduct 2 minutes from the cooking time and increase it if needed to allow the food to cook evenly.
How to Cook Chicken Leg Quarters in an Air Fryer
- Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 200C/400F.
- Pat the chicken dry with a kitchen towel.
- Rub each side of the chicken with oil and season generously with paprika, thyme, garlic and ginger powder.

- Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes.
- Flip halfway through the cooking and allow to cook for 10 minutes. To know that the chicken is well cooked, the internal temperature must read 165F/75C.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and rest for 2 minutes. Serve, and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 3 chicken leg quarters without skin
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
- ½ Tablespoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon thyme
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 200C/400F.

How to Store
We recommend allowing the chicken to cool completely before packing it in an airtight container or Ziploc/freezer bag.
Fridge- put it in a food bag or airtight container and store for up to 5 days.
Freezer - put in a freezer bag or airtight container for up to 3 months.

To reheat in the air fryer at 180C/356F for 3 minutes. It could take longer if frozen.
Reheat in the oven to 190C/375F for 5 minutes. Place the chicken on a parchment paper-lined baking tray and put them in the oven to get them hot or microwave for 2 minutes.
Tips
- Do not overlap the chicken in the air fryer basket.
- Flip the chicken halfway into cooking so that both sides are well cooked.
- To infuse more flavour, marinate the chicken and let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes.
